Norrani Imperium[]
The Norrani Imperium is in many ways equivalent to our world's Roman Empire. The foundation of the Empire marks the beginning of the calendar count by the system of Norrani Year (N.Y.). The empire fell around 500 N.Y. The Norrani Imperium extended its dominion across much of the South, intending to rule the whole of Midhgardhur, but it was a deeply corrupt empire that relied too heavily on black magic to maintain its power. The Norrani Imperium is frequently used as a simultaneous symbol of vast power but equally vast corruption.
